Very Quick Shots

Very Quick Shots cuts the attack cooldown again, to about 0.64 seconds. That is about 22% faster than Quick Shots and roughly 49% faster than a base Dart Monkey. Nothing else changes.

The real value shows up on other paths. The same speed boost applies to every upgrade it is combined with: a 0-2-3 Crossbow fires every 0.64 seconds instead of 0.95, a 0-2-4 Sharp Shooter about every 0.32 seconds, and a 0-2-5 Crossbow Master about every 0.16 seconds.

When to buy it

Treat it as a crosspath. Placing another 0-0-0 Dart Monkey is more efficient than this upgrade on its own, but once the tower has a tier 3 or higher on another path, extra attack speed is worth far more.

• 0-2-4 Sharp Shooter and 0-2-5 Crossbow Master use it for the best single-target damage.
• 3-2-0, 4-2-0 and 5-2-0 juggernaut builds use it as their default damage crosspath.
• Dart Monkeys meant for fan club transformations often take it too, since transformed monkeys inherit attack speed upgrades.

Is it worth it?

Yes, it is the default crosspath for most Dart Monkey tier 3+ builds. The only common exceptions are when you need camo detection (x-0-2) or extra pierce on a dense straight (2-0-x).
