How to use Triple Shot
Triple Shot makes the Dart Monkey throw three darts at once, spread 15 degrees apart, and cuts the attack cooldown by another 25% to about 0.48 seconds. Compared with a base Dart Monkey that is three times the darts at nearly double the rate, which is a huge jump in output for the price. With the 4 and 4 Monkey Knowledge, every fourth throw contains four darts.
The darts themselves are unchanged: 1 damage, 2 pierce and sharp damage, so they still cannot pop lead or frozen bloons.
When to buy it
Triple Shot is a cheap early-game tower that works best on maps like Dark Dungeons and Ravine, where bloons funnel past one spot. It is also the base for Super Monkey Fan Club and Plasma Monkey Fan Club setups, where fast-attacking darts matter.
- 2-3-0 is the usual choice. Each dart gets 5 pierce, which makes the tower far better at clearing groups.
- 0-3-2 adds range and camo detection, useful when you lack other camo support.
Is it worth it?
Yes. For under $1,000 in total it is one of the strongest early-game options among the primary monkeys, often edging out Crossbow on value. It falls off once ceramics and MOABs arrive, so plan the next step.
Frequently asked questions
Can Triple Shot pop lead?
No. Its darts are sharp, so lead and frozen bloons need another tower.

2-3-0 for pierce in most games, 0-3-2 when you need camo detection.
How much does Triple Shot cost?
$450 on Medium. All difficulty prices are listed at the top of this page.
