How to use Ball Lightning

Ball Lightning gives the Druid camo detection and a new attack every 6 seconds: a slow-moving ball that zaps lightning every 0.35 seconds for 3 damage per bolt (forking up to 31 targets) and freezes any non-White bloon that touches it for 4.5 seconds, through up to four layers. Heart of Thunder bolts now deal 3 damage. Tornadoes also improve: they push bloons 150 to 250 units back and have 60 pierce with no ceramic penalty.

When to buy it

Ball Lightning is a solid mid-game tower that both pops and controls bloons along its path. Place it where the track runs straight from the Druid so the slow balls travel along the bloons. The freezing also stacks well with Cold Front.

Crosspaths: Heart of Vengeance (4-0-2) for more attack speed is a common pick, since every attack benefits. If you only want blowback, a few cheaper Druids of the Storm can be more versatile.

Note that the freezing balls kill bloons quickly, which works against you if you are trying to stall a round to recharge abilities.
