How to use Heart of Oak

Heart of Oak makes all of the Druid's attacks remove the regrow property from the bloons they damage, including tornadoes on the bloons they target. It also gives +1% pierce for every life you gain above your lives at the time of purchase, up to +100%.

When to buy it

Heart of Oak is the cheapest dedicated anti-regrow option after Ezili's Heartstopper. Its most important use is against Lych: a Heart of Oak Druid stops Lych from healing, and in least tiers boss events a 0-2-0 Druid can be worth its tiers on its own, especially against Elite Lych.

For regrow rounds in normal games, 2-2-0 can handle groups, but the best degrowing comes from continuing to Druid of the Jungle. The life-based pierce bonus is a small extra that matters mainly with Jungle's Bounty, which gives lives every round.

Is it worth it?

Yes, especially for Lych. It is a cheap step that makes the whole middle path stronger.
