Monkey Bank stops dropping bananas and instead deposits its income into an internal balance that earns 15% interest at the end of every round. The balance is capped at $7,000, or $9,500 with Bigger Banks. Once full, it stops earning until you withdraw.

When to buy it

Monkey Bank pays off when you leave the money in and let interest compound, then collect close to the cap. Collecting every round throws away most of the benefit, and in that case a Marketplace is better.

Good uses:

• An early 2-3-0 bank, built from a 2-2-0 farm, that you empty every several rounds.
• A bank as the first step toward IMF Loan.
• Mid-game saveups where you know you will need a large sum in a few rounds.

Crosspath 2-3-0 is the standard. With Bigger Banks and More Valuable Bananas, a 2-3-0 averages more than double a Marketplace's income over a full fill cycle. Bottom crosspath 0-3-2 auto-collects the bank when full, which is handy if you forget, and 0-3-1 makes it glow when full.

Is it worth it?

Yes, if you manage it. It is the best tier 3 farm when collected near full. It does nothing in CHIMPS or Deflation, where farms are disabled.
