How to use Increased Production
Increased Production raises the number of banana bunches a Banana Farm grows each round from 4 to 6. Each bunch is still worth $20, so income goes from $80 to $120 per round, or $150 with Valuable Bananas.
When to buy it
Buy it as soon as your first farm is down and the defense is holding. Upgrading an existing farm is cheaper per dollar of income than placing a second base farm, so the usual opener is base farm, then 1-0-0, then 2-0-0, and only then a new farm.
It also feeds into later crosspaths. On Marketplace and Central Market, each top path tier adds 2 extra cash packets per round, so 1-0-3 and 2-0-4 farms earn more than the plain bottom path versions.
Is it worth it?
Yes, almost always. It is one of the cheapest income increases in the game and a required step toward Greater Production, which is the standard early farm. Note that Banana Farms cannot be used in CHIMPS or Deflation, so this only matters in modes with income.
