Banana Plantation

Banana Plantation doubles the farm's output from 8 to 16 bunches per round. Bunches are still $20 each, so a 3-0-0 earns $320 per round, $400 with Valuable Bananas.

When to buy it

Treat it as a stepping stone. On its own, Banana Plantation is less cost-efficient than the 2-0-0 it comes from, and Marketplace earns the same $320 for $300 less while collecting itself and selling for more. Monkey Bank earns more on average if you let the interest build.

The reason to buy it is Banana Research Facility. Save toward the tier 4 and only upgrade to Plantation when you are a few rounds away from affording the Facility. Keep one Plantation on the map at a time and run Marketplaces elsewhere.

Always crosspath it as 3-2-0. Valuable Bananas pushes every bunch to $25 and carries over to the crates of the Facility and Banana Central.

Is it worth it?

Not as a final upgrade. As a short stop on the way to a 4-2-0 Banana Research Facility it is fine, and that tier 4 is one of the best farms in the game.
