Greater Production

Greater Production adds 2 more bunches on top of Increased Production, so the farm now grows 8 bunches per round. That is $160 per round, or $200 with Valuable Bananas. A full 2-0-0 farm costs $2,350 on Medium, which pays itself back in roughly 15 rounds if you collect every banana.

When to buy it

This is the default early farm. Get the first one to 2-0-0 before placing a second farm, then repeat. Many players stack several 2-0-0 farms in the early game and later convert or sell them for a big purchase.

Greater Production is also the top crosspath you want on most higher farms: 2-3-0 Monkey Bank, 2-0-3 Marketplace (20 packets per round instead of 16) and 2-0-4 Central Market all use it. If you plan to sell a group of 2-0-0 farms, upgrading them to 2-0-2 first raises their sell value through Banana Salvage.

Is it worth it?

Yes. It is the most efficient banana upgrade in the early game and leads into Banana Plantation and Banana Research Facility. Remember that farms are disabled in CHIMPS, so in that mode your money has to come from pops and end-of-round cash instead.
