How to use Banana Salvage

Banana Salvage raises the auto-collect value of rotten bananas from 50% to 85% and makes a Monkey Bank empty itself at the end of a round when it is full. Its most useful effect is that the farm's sell value goes up by 10%.

When to buy it

The extra sellback is the reason to buy this. If you run several 2-0-0 farms early and plan to sell them for a big purchase, upgrading each one to 2-0-2 first returns more money than the two bottom path upgrades cost ($650 on Medium for both). Buy them just before selling.

It is also the second step toward Marketplace, so any bottom path farm passes through it.

As a crosspath on high top or middle path farms it is usually a poor choice. On a 4-0-2 or 5-0-2 you give up the 25% of Valuable Bananas just to get better sellback, and you lose money every round.

Is it worth it?

Yes for farms you will sell soon and as the road to Marketplace. No as a permanent crosspath on Banana Research Facility or Banana Central.
