Monkey-Nomics

Monkey-Nomics replaces the IMF Loan with an ability that gives $9,000 with no debt, or $10,000 with Backroom Deals. The cooldown drops from 85 to 60 seconds. The other limits stay the same: it starts on full cooldown, can be used at most twice per round, cannot be used between rounds and is disabled once a round has lasted 3 minutes. Monkey City can increase the payout, but most other income buffs do not affect it. The bank part of the tower still works as a 0-5-x farm.

When to buy it

Monkey-Nomics is an ability farm, so its income depends on how long your rounds last. With two activations per round it makes $18,000 per round, which beats a 5-2-0 Banana Central's $7,500 base. In a short round you only get one use or none, and the math falls apart.

That makes it strong in:

• Late Freeplay, where rounds are long.
• Stalling setups that keep the round running long enough for the second use.
• Boss Events with long rounds, with one catch: in ranked Boss Events, cash ability cooldowns pause while the penalty timer is active.

In a normal game to round 100, with rounds that end quickly, Banana Central or BRFs with Overclock are usually the better farms. Keep 2-5-0 for the extra bank income.

Is it worth it?

For long, stalled rounds, yes, it is one of the highest-income options in the game. For normal play where rounds end quickly, the other tier 5 farms are more consistent. It is not available in CHIMPS, Deflation or any mode with farms disabled.
