How to use Long Life Bananas
Long Life Bananas doubles how long bananas stay on the ground before rotting, from 15 seconds to 30 seconds. The bananas from this farm turn green so you can tell them apart. It does not add any income by itself.
When to buy it
Only buy it on the way to Valuable Bananas, which is the upgrade you actually want. The extra lifespan helps on fast-forward or when you are busy placing towers and miss a few bunches, but it has no effect at all on Marketplace and higher bottom path farms, which do not drop collectable bananas.
On a 2-0-0 or 4-0-0 farm, Long Life Bananas is simply the required first click before Valuable Bananas gives you 25% more cash per bunch or crate.
Is it worth it?
As a standalone upgrade, no. It is cheap, but it adds no money. Treat it as part of the price of Valuable Bananas, which is the standard middle crosspath for Banana Research Facility and Banana Central.
