Full Auto Rifle halves the attack cooldown again, so it fires about every 0.13 seconds, twice as fast as Semi-Automatic and over 12 times faster than a base Sniper. Bullets also gain +2 damage against MOAB-class Bloons. With Shrapnel Shot, the shrapnel gains bonus damage against Ceramics.

When to buy it

Like Semi-Automatic, the crosspath defines the role:

• 0-2-4 is a generalist that tears through groups when it shoots Bloons travelling toward it, for example on the bottom-middle section of Muddy Puddles. It gains a lot from a 3-2-0 Berserker Brew. Several 0-2-4s with a 0-5-2 Elite Sniper, a 0-2-5 Elite Defender and a Permanent Brew make a strong CHIMPS strategy on maps with the right spots. On maps without them, such as Pat's Pond and X Factor, it struggles.
• 2-0-4 is a fast, accurate single-target tower for mid-game MOABs, far more efficient than a 2-0-3. It is also excellent in Boss Events, especially against Vortex, whose shield it ignores. In timed Vortex runs, multiple buffed 2-0-4s are standard for higher tiers.

With crosspaths, one Full Auto Rifle is more cost-efficient than several Semi-Automatics.

Is it worth it?

Yes. It is one of the best value tier 4s for Sniper spam and boss single-target, and the step to Elite Defender.
