How to use Deadly Precision
Deadly Precision raises bullet damage from 7 to 20 and adds +50 damage against Ceramics, so a single shot destroys a full Ceramic before round 81. With Shrapnel Shot the shrapnel deals 4 damage each.
When to buy it
Deadly Precision is at its best in the 40s and early 50s, when Ceramics arrive in numbers and a Sniper that deletes one per shot is very efficient. It is especially useful on short CHIMPS maps where other towers do not have time to chew through Ceramics.
Targeting tips:
- Strong while Ceramics are the main threat.
- First in the late game, where it can still pop Super Ceramics in one shot (two for Fortified ones).
It is also a common pick in Races and Contested Territory time attack to instantly pop the last Bloon of a round.
The bottom path is the usual crosspath (3-0-2): faster shots mean more one-shots and better single-target damage. 3-2-0 adds group damage, but the shrapnel is too weak to matter much unless you are heading to 4-2-0 Maim MOAB.
Is it worth it?
For its price it is a solid mid-game Ceramic answer, and it is the step to Maim MOAB. It is slow and falls off in later rounds, so plan to move on.
