How to use Dragon’s Breath

Dragon's Breath adds a fast flamethrower attack: 2 Fire damage with 3 pierce every 0.135 seconds, plus a burn that deals 1 damage every 1.5 seconds for about 3 seconds. The other fire attacks improve as well:

  • Fireball: 3 fireballs per shot in a 60-degree spread, with explosions dealing 3 damage over a larger area.
  • Wall of Fire: appears every 4.5 seconds instead of 6.5, with 20 pierce instead of 10, and ticks every 0.1 seconds.

Crosspath bonuses: Guided Magic doubles the flame lifespan and lets it ignore obstacles. Intense Magic gives the flames 2 more pierce and doubles their speed.

When to buy it

Dragon's Breath is an all-round tower that works against both blimps and regular bloons. It carries the early game well, but low range and pierce hold it back in the mid-game. It is a good fit on easier maps and less so on harder ones, where specialised towers do better.

Crosspaths: 0-3-2 for pierce, range and camo, or 1-3-0 for wall uptime and obstacle-ignoring flames.

Is it worth it?

Decent at $3,300 on Medium as a step toward Summon Phoenix. As a final tower, more specialised options usually beat it.
