How to use Long Range Tacks
Long Range Tacks increases the Tack Shooter range by about 17%, from 23 to roughly 27, and makes tacks fly 17% faster and further. Damage, pierce and attack speed are unchanged.
When to buy it
The small range boost does not add much on its own, so Long Range Tacks is almost always bought on the way to Super Range Tacks, which adds pierce as well. As a crosspath, x-1-x gives a little more coverage to Hot Shots, Ring of Fire or Tack Sprayer, but most builds continue to x-2-x for the pierce.
Is it worth it?
Only as a step toward Super Range Tacks and Blade Shooter. Skip it as a standalone upgrade.
