How to use More Tacks
More Tacks increases the number of tacks per shot from 8 to 10, 25% more tacks for every burst. Range, damage and speed are unchanged. It also improves the other paths:
- Ring of Fire and Inferno Ring gain +1 damage on the ring.
- Blade Maelstrom gets 0.5 seconds more ability time, and Super Maelstrom 1.5 seconds more. The spin direction also reverses.
When to buy it
Two extra tacks on a 0-0-1 is poor value for the price, so More Tacks is bought as a crosspath. In nearly every case you continue to Even More Tacks for the full bonus. A 0-0-1 crosspath can make sense on tight budgets, but x-x-2 is the normal target.
It is also the first step toward Tack Sprayer, Overdrive and The Tack Zone.
Is it worth it?
As a step to Even More Tacks or the bottom path, yes. On its own, no.
