How to use Super Range Tacks
Super Range Tacks adds another 17% range (about 31 in total, 34% more than base), makes tacks last longer and gives them +3 pierce, so each tack can now pop 4 bloons. The crosspath bonuses are even bigger:
- Ring of Fire and Inferno Ring gain +15 pierce.
- The Tack Zone gains +8 pierce per tack and +20 range instead.
When to buy it
The pierce boost makes a 1-2-0 Tack Shooter a strong opener in Races, able to handle a lot of early rounds at once when placed on a good bend.
As a crosspath, x-2-x is used for:
- 3-2-0 Hot Shots and 4-2-0 Ring of Fire, for more pierce and a bigger ring.
- 0-2-5 The Tack Zone, which becomes a long-range, high-pierce tower.
- 0-2-3 Tack Sprayer in Races.
Is it worth it?
Yes, as a crosspath. The extra pierce is a big upgrade for top path and Tack Zone builds, and it unlocks Blade Shooter.
