Enhanced Freeze

Enhanced Freeze increases the freeze from 1.5 to 1.75 seconds and makes the Ice Monkey attack 33% faster, every 1.8 seconds instead of 2.4. Other effects that last as long as the freeze, such as icicles and ice shard marks, get longer too. The faster attacks carry over to the other paths:

• Super Brittle: 1.2 to 0.9 seconds.
• Cryo Cannon: 1.2 to 0.9 seconds.
• Icicles and Icicle Impale: 0.75 to about 0.56 seconds.

When to buy it

On its own it lets a basic Ice Monkey keep bloons near-permanently frozen in its range, which is a cheap stall. Most of the time you buy it on the way to Deep Freeze, because x-2-x is one of the most common Ice Monkey crosspaths:

• 3-2-0 Ice Shards and 4-2-0 or 5-2-0 brittle builds.
• 0-2-3 Cryo Cannon, 0-2-4 Icicles and 0-2-5 Icicle Impale.

Is it worth it?

Yes as a crosspath. It is a cheap way to improve consistency and damage on almost every Ice Monkey build.
