How to use Cryo Cannon
Cryo Cannon replaces the Ice Monkey blast with a cannon that fires ice balls. It attacks every 1.2 seconds (twice as fast as before) with 46 range, and each ball bursts in a 20 radius, dealing 1 damage to up to 40 bloons and freezing them for 1.5 seconds. It freezes an extra layer, and ceramics are frozen for the full duration. The tower gains normal targeting options, defaulting to First. With the Big Cryo Blast Monkey Knowledge, the blast is 12% bigger. With Cold Snap it also gets Camo Prioritization.
When to buy it
Cryo Cannon is a strong Golden Bloon hunter: 2-0-3 can catch every Golden Bloon up to the round 81 to 90 one, which gains zebra properties. It is also a decent way to catch super ceramics late in the game.
- 2-0-3 freezes lead and camo bloons, the choice for Golden Bloons.
- 0-2-3 attacks faster with longer freezes, better against super ceramics.
Ceramics can leak once they thaw if the cannon switches targets, so it works best as part of a stall rather than alone.
Is it worth it?
Yes, as a cheap long-range staller and a step toward Icicles. Do not expect damage from it.
