Comanche Commander

Comanche Commander makes the three mini Comanches permanent instead of only appearing when bloons push down the track. They spawn from the main helipad as soon as you buy the upgrade. Every weapon gets stronger:

• Main Heli darts go from 2 to 4 damage.
• The MOAB Shove missile goes from 3 to 13 damage, and its bonus against MOAB-class from +5 to +8.
• Mini Comanche darts go from 1 to 3 damage.
• Mini Comanche rockets go from 4 to 15 damage, and their ceramic bonus from +2 to +10.
• The Heli and its minis fly a little faster.

When to buy it

Comanche Commander costs $35,000 on Medium. Because Comanche Defense is much cheaper than Apache Dartship, the save-up is smoother, which makes it the more practical Heli tier 5 in many CHIMPS games.

The preferred crosspath is 1-0-5. Quad Darts boosts the darts on all four helicopters. 2-0-5 adds Pursuit if you want it to fly itself. The middle crosspath (0-1-5 or 0-2-5) is less common and mainly used for built-in camo detection.

Synergies and limits

It works best on maps without separated simultaneous lanes, since the four helicopters fly together. It scales very well with blimp debuffs, especially Glue Storm, but it does not benefit from Alchemist brews or the Engineer's Overclock as much as many other carries.

The shove still slows single blimps up to ZOMG, which buys time for the missiles and rockets.

Is it worth it?

Yes, as an affordable, flexible late-game damage tower. Compared with Apache Prime, it is cheaper and easier to reach, with good blimp control. Compared with Special Poperations, it does far more damage but none of the utility. For boss events, it is a decent mid-cost damage option, especially with debuffs.
