Apache Dartship gives the Heli two new weapons and boosts the old ones. The machine gun fires darts every 0.05 seconds for 1 damage with 7 pierce, but it cannot pop lead or frozen bloons. The missile launcher fires 4 homing rockets every second, each dealing 2 damage with 40 pierce. It has double the Heli's normal range but cannot damage black bloons. Quad darts fire about a third faster, the rotor aura goes from 2 to 4 damage and from 10 to 20 pierce, and the Heli flies 25% faster.

When to buy it

At $20,000 on Medium, Apache Dartship is expensive for a tier 4. It handles most mid-game rounds on maps with one active lane per round, but it can struggle against fortified MOABs on short maps and against round 76 without help.

The standard crosspath is 4-0-2, since Faster Firing speeds up every attack. 4-2-0 only makes sense when you need camo detection.

In CHIMPS it is mainly a step toward Apache Prime. Rosalia helps a lot here because her discount applies to the Heli.

Is it worth it?

In Least Tiers challenges, a buffed Apache can be a set-and-forget carry. In normal play, other tier 4s give better value for $20,000 unless you are already committed to Apache Prime.
