Bloon Exclusion Zone

Bloon Exclusion Zone (BEZ) adds two more barrels for a total of six, making it 1.5 times faster than BADS (one blast every 0.2 seconds). Each blast fires 12 pellets instead of 6, and each pellet deals 6 damage instead of 3 with 6 pierce instead of 4. The barrels sit even higher, so more of them clear obstacles. Target Independent now cycles through First, Last, Close, Strong, First and Strong.

With the Laser Shock crosspath, shock and bonus shocked damage both rise to 4.

When to buy it

BEZ costs $58,000 on Medium. It is an expensive late-game carry with huge damage and knockback, able to handle dense rounds and even BADs. It needs help with DDTs, which it cannot damage on its own.

The cheapest fix is the Alchemist's Acidic Mixture Dip, which also adds damage. A common setup uses four isolated Alchemists, two 2-2-0 and two 2-0-1, with one upgraded to Stronger Stimulant, all buffing only the BEZ. Other anti-lead options such as Embrittlement, Glue Strike or Monkey Intelligence Bureau also work. An Engineer's Overclock is a great addition if you can afford it.

Place it near the end of the track so it fires into incoming bloons. Its range is very large but not quite global from the map edge. Sanctuary is a standout map, thanks to the central choke point.

Crosspath: 2-0-5 deals much more damage than 0-2-5 and gets better Acidic Mixture Dip uptime.

Is it worth it?

Yes, as a late-game carry in CHIMPS if you can set up the support. Compared with Ray of Doom, it is cheaper but needs more help with lead and DDTs. Compared with M.A.D, it is far better at crowds and ceramics but has less pure blimp damage.
