Bloon Area Denial System

Bloon Area Denial System (BADS) mounts Buckshot on a four-barrel turret. The barrels fire in turn, giving four times the attack speed: one blast every 0.3 seconds instead of 1.2. The barrels sit at different heights, so some can fire over certain obstacles.

It also adds a Target Independent option. With it, the Dartling stops following your cursor and each barrel picks its own target within a large range, using First, Last, Close and Strong.

With the Laser Shock crosspath, the shock and bonus shocked damage are both 2.

When to buy it

BADS is a solid mid-game carry with good damage, knockback and range. It works especially well on maps with straight sections or limited placement, such as Sanctuary, and responds well to Alchemist buffs.

Its main job is as a stepping stone to Bloon Exclusion Zone. Without that upgrade, it becomes an expensive super ceramic staller by the 90s.

Crosspaths: 2-0-4 for accuracy and shock damage. 0-2-4 for more attack speed and camo detection.

Is it worth it?

Yes, if you plan to reach Bloon Exclusion Zone. As a final tower, $12,000 on Medium is a lot for something that falls off in the late game.
