How to use Bigger Stacks
Bigger Stacks doubles the pierce of each new spike pile, from 5 to 10 on most Spike Factory tiers. Carpet of Spikes piles go from 10 to 15, and Perma-Spike piles from 50 to 85. The piles do not get physically bigger, they just pop more Bloons before running out.
When to buy it
Bigger Stacks is the go-to crosspath for most Spike Factory builds because extra pierce is exactly what a stockpile tower needs:
- 1-0-2 is a cheap cleanup factory and works very well with an Alchemist's Berserker Brew.
- 1-0-5 Perma-Spike gets 85 pierce per pile instead of 50.
- 1-5-0 Carpet of Spikes gets 15-pierce piles from both its passive and ability storms.
It is also the first step to White Hot Spikes, which lets spikes pop Lead and Frozen Bloons, including DDTs.
Is it worth it?
Yes. At $800 on Medium it is not the cheapest tier 1, but doubling pierce roughly doubles how much a stockpile can absorb. Only skip it when you need Even Faster Production for quicker refills.
