Triple Guns

Triple Guns adds a third gun and cuts the attack cooldown by a third, from 0.375 to about 0.25 seconds. That is roughly 49% faster than Airburst Darts and about 3 times the fire rate of a Sub with no speed upgrades. Every shot still splits into airburst darts.

When to buy it

Like Airburst Darts it is a versatile early to mid-game tower, but uncrosspathed it costs more per unit of damage than another Airburst Sub. It earns its place because it saves space and becomes efficient once crosspathed.

• As a standalone tower, buff it with a Berserker Brew, which fixes its low pierce and damage.
• 2-0-3 is the usual crosspath, especially on maps with alternating lanes. Advanced Intel gives it near-global reach, including sharing Camo detection from other towers.
• In Sub Commander armies, 2-0-3 Triple Guns is a cheap way to soak up the Commander's damage and pierce buff when range matters. On compact maps where every lane crosses, 0-3-2 Ballistic Missiles are preferred. If space is tight, go up to 2-0-4.
• Spamming buffed Triple Guns is a strong Least Cash option on normal Boss Events, especially against Phayze.

Is it worth it?

As a step to Armor Piercing Darts and Sub Commander, yes. On its own, only with crosspaths and buffs.
