First Strike Capability

First Strike Capability adds an ability. When activated, it launches a missile at the strongest Bloon on screen that deals 10,000 damage to it, then explodes for 350 more damage to up to 80 Bloons nearby. The target takes 10,350 damage in total. The missile hits every Bloon type and can target Camo Bloons even if the Sub cannot see them. It has a long cooldown and an initial cooldown after purchase, and it cannot be used when no Bloons are on screen.

When to buy it

First Strike is huge single-target damage on demand:

• CHIMPS: it can finish off a heavily damaged round 100 BAD in one shot. Buy it during round 99 so the ability is ready. With a Bloontonium Reactor or Energizer cutting its cooldown, it can fire twice on round 100 on medium and long maps, and even on shorter ones like Quad.
• Boss Events: strong burst against Bloonarius and Vortex, and for breaking Dreadbloon's primary-immune layer in timed boss runs.
• It can one-shot single ZOMGs, but the cooldown is too long to handle every ZOMG in later rounds.

Unlike other single-target specialists, it does not depend on synergies, but it needs water. Cooldown reductions and resets, such as Geraldo's Rejuv Potion, help it a lot.

The crosspath does not change the ability, so pick whatever you used on Ballistic Missile, or skip it.

Is it worth it?

Yes, as a dedicated BAD and boss answer. It is not a general damage tower.
