How to use Submerge and Support
Submerge and Support adds a Submerge targeting option. While submerged, the Sub stops its normal attacks and instead pulses an aura every 1.35 seconds that removes the Camo property from up to 100 Bloons in range. The aura deals no damage. You can toggle back to normal attacks at any time (with a short cooldown).
When to buy it
It is a cheap and reliable de-camo tool, best placed at a bend where its circle covers as much track as possible. Once camos lose their property, every tower on the map can hit them.
Tips:
- Unsubmerge it on rounds without camos so it adds damage.
- On maps without bends, or where lanes are far apart, a map-wide de-camo such as Signal Flare is better.
- It can be unreliable against DDTs, which move fast through a small aura.
3-0-1 is the best crosspath: Twin Guns makes the aura pulse about 42% faster, which matters against fast Bloons. 3-1-0 adds 50 aura pierce, which only really matters in Races. Other crosspaths only help the Sub while it is not submerged.
Is it worth it?
Yes, as an affordable de-camo and as the step to Bloontonium Reactor and Energizer.
Frequently asked questions
Does Submerge and Support pop Bloons?
No. The submerged aura only removes Camo. It needs Bloontonium Reactor to start damaging Bloons.
What crosspath for Submerge and Support?
3-0-1. The faster pulses make the de-camo more consistent.
How much does Submerge and Support cost?
$700 on Medium. All difficulty prices are shown at the top of this page.
