Advanced Intel

Advanced Intel lets the Monkey Sub target Bloons that are inside the range of any of your other towers, not just its own. Its darts get extra lifespan to travel the longer distances. If another tower has Camo detection, the Sub can also shoot camos inside that tower's range, even without camo detection of its own.

A few details:

• It uses each tower's displayed range. Sniper Monkeys and flying towers only count their small placement area, not their true range.
• Most placeable Powers do not count, though a few, such as Battle Cat and Cave Monkey, do.
• This camo sharing is not a camo buff, so Phayze's Radar Jam cannot block it.

When to buy it

It is weak on a 2-0-0 Sub, but strong as a crosspath for builds with enough damage:

• 2-0-2 Airburst Darts and above, especially on multi-lane maps such as Bloody Puddles.
• 2-3-0 and 2-5-0 on maps with alternating lanes, where the Sub would otherwise sit idle on many rounds.
• 2-0-5 Sub Commander, where range across the whole map is worth more than built-in Lead popping.

Spread cheap towers around the map to give the Sub more targets. A basic Desperado is one of the most cost-efficient intel sources, and an Eagle Eye Desperado is the cheapest way to share wide camo range.

Is it worth it?

Yes. It is one of the best crosspaths in the game for the Sub's bottom path and turns a water-locked tower into one that can reach most of the map.
