Eagle Eye

Eagle Eye gives the Desperado Camo detection and unlocks the Camo Prioritization targeting option. Nothing else about the attack changes, but it makes the Desperado one of the cheapest camo detectors in the game, behind only a basic Ninja Monkey.

When to buy it

Buy it whenever an early Desperado needs to deal with stray Camo Bloons. It handles the occasional Camo fine, but it starts to struggle from round 36, when Camo Regrows arrive in larger numbers.

As a crosspath it is useful in a few ways:

• On any Desperado that has no other camo source, such as 3-1-0 Big Iron or 0-1-3 Enforcer.
• As the step to Bullseye, which most top path and bottom path Desperados want anyway, so the camo comes free with the crits.
• Cheap camo for a Monkey Sub with Advanced Intel, which can then shoot camo Bloons that the Desperado sees.

Is it worth it?

Yes. It is cheap and leads into Bullseye, so on most builds you end up buying it anyway.
