Twin Sixes

Twin Sixes adds a second revolver. Each burst now fires 12 shots instead of 6, each shot unloads twice as fast, and damage per shot rises from 2 to 6. Because the shots come out faster, a full burst takes about the same time as Big Iron's, so the result is three times the damage per shot and double the shots in the same window.

When to buy it

Twin Sixes is strong single-target damage for its price, useful for blimp rounds from the 60s onward. Keep it far from the track to get the full Quickdraw and Standoff bonuses, especially when it is shooting at one target.

4-2-0 is usually best: Bullseye crits can one-shot Ceramics and raise average damage more than 4-0-2 when firing from range. The bottom path speed buffs help less because the burst fires at a fixed rate.

Bounty Hunter is a great partner. Its marks make Bloons take double damage from every Desperado, which doubles Twin Sixes' damage against marked targets. Several Twin Sixes under a Bounty Hunter can be cheaper than a single Blazing Sun if you have other cleanup.

Is it worth it?

Yes, as a single-target tower. It struggles badly against groups, so it always needs a cleanup tower next to it.
