Tech Terror

Tech Terror adds the Annihilation ability on top of the Robo Monkey's twin guns. Annihilation hits up to 2,000 bloons within 70 units of the tower for 2,600 damage each, pops every bloon type including camo, and has a 45 second cooldown. Every third use deals 50% more (3,900). The main attack also gains +2 pierce.

When to buy it

Buy it when you need burst damage for dense rounds. Annihilation is excellent at deleting big waves of ceramics and MOAB-class bloons that bunch up, and it is a common answer to heavy late rounds such as 98. Place it where the track loops inside its 70 unit radius so the blast catches as much as possible.

The standard crosspath is 0-4-2. Knockback slows MOABs and pushes back survivors after an Annihilation, and Ultravision lets the main attack hit camo DDTs. 0-4-1 is fine when you already have camo detection elsewhere. In races it plays a similar role to Tsar Bomba, with a smaller blast but a better main attack.

Is it worth it?

It is a decent late-game damage tower with strong burst. It will not carry by itself against fortified boss health bars, but for $25,000 it gives a reliable panic button on wave-heavy rounds. Time the ability manually rather than letting it fire on a weak wave.
