How to use Dark Champion
Dark Champion doubles the Super Monkey's attack speed by alternating blades between both hands. Each blade now pops every bloon type and gains a lot: damage 1 to 2, MOAB bonus 2 to 3, camo bonus 1 to 2, a new +2 bonus against ceramics, pierce 4 to 8 and a bigger hitbox. After hitting a target, a blade ricochets to the nearest bloon up to 8 times. Range rises from 53 to 57, and Darkshift becomes global, so you can teleport it anywhere on the map.
When to buy it
Dark Champion is a late-game carry at $55,555. Buy it once your income can cover it without leaving gaps elsewhere. Always crosspath 2-0-4: the extra attack speed from Plasma Blasts is worth far more here than middle path pierce, and Dark Champion does not benefit from Geraldo's Sharpening Stone.
Use global Darkshift to move it to whichever lane needs help, and pair it with Alchemist buffs, a Village and solid MOAB support.
Is it worth it?
It can carry most late rounds with enough buffs, thanks to its ricochets, knockback and global repositioning. Its single-target damage is low for the price, so it needs help against the round 100 BAD and against bosses. Compared with Sun Temple, it is cheaper and easier to place but much weaker in raw damage.
