How to use Knockback
Knockback makes every Super Monkey hit apply a 0.5 second knockback effect. MOAB-class bloons move at 70% speed, Ceramic and Lead Bloons at 40% speed, and smaller bloons are pushed backwards at 25% speed while the effect lasts. BADs and Boss Bloons are immune.
When to buy it
At $3,000 it is pricey for a tier 1, so most players add it once the main path is in place. It can help an early Super survive the round 40 MOAB, but the real value comes later, when a high fire-rate Super keeps ceramics and MOABs in range of the rest of your defense for longer.
It is the default crosspath for Tech Terror and The Anti-Bloon (0-4-2, 0-5-2), a common choice on Sun Avatar (3-0-1), and the route into Ultravision and the Dark Knight line. The Heavy Knockback knowledge strengthens the effect.
Is it worth it?
Yes as a crosspath on almost any late-game Super Monkey. The slow helps every tower near it, so it is more valuable than the price suggests once the round count gets high.
