Robo Monkey

Robo Monkey gives the Super Monkey a second arm that fires a full copy of its attack at the same time, raises pierce from 4 to 5, and adds a crit shot every 15 to 20 shots that deals +9 damage. The second gun has its own targeting setting and cannot use the same one as the first, so you can cover First and Strong at the same time.

When to buy it

Robo Monkey is a mid-game damage option at $7,500 that does fine against grouped bloons and single targets. The two common builds:

• 2-3-0 for maximum damage, with the attack speed from Plasma Blasts.
• 0-3-1 for Knockback on ceramics and MOAB-class bloons late in the game, or 0-3-2 if you want built-in camo detection.

Set one gun to Strong and the other to First so it splits between MOABs and leaking bloons. Like every Super, it gets much cheaper with Monkey Commerce. Geraldo works well with knockback Robos thanks to the Worn Hero's Cape and Sharpening Stone.

Is it worth it?

It is solid but no longer a CHIMPS carry after several balance passes. Buy it if you plan to go to Tech Terror, or when you need a flexible mid-game damage dealer and the top path is too expensive.
