How to use Epic Range

Epic Range pushes the Super Monkey's range from 60 to 72 units, adds +2 pierce and makes projectiles fly 40% faster. Faster shots waste less time chasing bloons, and together with Super Range the middle crosspath adds +3 pierce in total.

When to buy it

Epic Range is the go-to crosspath for top path Supers. A 3-2-0 Sun Avatar or a Sun Temple with 2 in the middle covers a huge area and gets the most out of its pierce. Support Temples use the extra range to buff more towers.

Bottom path builds usually prefer Plasma Blasts' attack speed instead (2-0-4 Dark Champion is the standard), though 0-2-3 Dark Knight is still decent if Geraldo's Sharpening Stone is around. It is also the step into Robo Monkey.

Is it worth it?

Yes on top path Supers and as the route to Robo Monkey and Tech Terror. For bottom path Supers, Plasma Blasts is usually the better use of the slot.
