Grand Saboteur

Grand Saboteur doubles the sabotage duration from 15 to 30 seconds. While it is active, every new MOAB-class bloon (BADs included, bosses excluded) spawns with 25% of its health already removed, and every Shinobi Tactics Ninja on screen gets +10 range and +2 damage against MOAB-class bloons. The slow effect can also pick up damage-increasing debuffs, so with the right support the sabotage itself hurts every bloon on screen.

When to buy it

Use it on hard late rounds and in freeplay, timed so the 30 second window covers the blimp spawns. It is strongest with a Shinobi army, which is why you crosspath it around the Shinobis rather than for its own attack. Damage debuffs such as Geraldo's fire and the Alchemist's Total Transformation are standout partners.

In Paragon setups, the ability is also a cheap way to rack up pops for the Ninja Paragon, since the health cut counts as damage.

Is it worth it?

For $22,000 it is a decent support tier 5, especially in CHIMPS on late DDT and ZOMG rounds. In freeplay and boss events it has lost some value since the Ninja Paragon applies the same health cut permanently, but the Shinobi MOAB damage buff still makes it useful in Ninja-heavy builds. Compared with Master Bomber, it supports instead of carrying.
