How to use Shinobi Tactics

Shinobi Tactics turns the Ninja into a support tower for other Ninjas. Every Ninja Monkey in its range (including itself) gets 8% shorter attack cooldown (multiplicative) and 8% more pierce (additive) per Shinobi, and the buff stacks up to 20 times. A Ninja with all 20 stacks attacks about 5.3 times as fast and has about 2.6 times the pierce.

When to buy it

Shinobis are the backbone of any Ninja-focused strategy. Place them in a tight cluster around your main Ninjas (Bloonjitsu, Grandmaster Ninja, Master Bomber, Grand Saboteur) so every Shinobi reaches all of them. Most setups aim for 16 to 20. A big Shinobi group also strips camo and, through Distraction, keeps knocking ceramics back, which stalls dense rounds.

The cheapest useful crosspath is 0-3-1 for Seeking Shuriken: the extra range spreads the buff further. Caltrops (0-3-2) adds damage that also benefits from the stacks. Ninja Discipline is usually not needed, since one more Shinobi gives you more than buying it on each.

Space is the main limit. Maps with little placement room make a full army impossible, while open maps (Ouch after the water is drained, for example) suit it well.

Is it worth it?

Yes, if your strategy is built around Ninjas. For a single Ninja it is a poor buy; the value only appears with many stacks.
