How to use Double Shot

Double Shot makes the Ninja throw two shurikens per attack, spread 18 degrees apart (with a small random offset). That doubles its potential cleanup for $900, which is cheaper than placing a second Ninja and keeps the camo detection in one spot.

When to buy it

Double Shot is an early-game carry upgrade. Buy it when you need extra damage on a lane before the first ceramics and MOABs. It is especially popular on Ouch in CHIMPS, where a Ninja can cover several lanes early.

The best crosspath is 3-0-1 with Seeking Shuriken, which makes both shurikens home in and adds range. Caltrops (3-0-2) is a cheap bonus. Middle path crosspaths give blowback and camo stripping, but a group of Shinobis or another tower usually covers those jobs better.

Is it worth it?

Yes for the early game. It is one of the most efficient cheap tier 3s for cleaning up leaks and camo, and it leads straight into Bloonjitsu.
