Velociraptor replaces the Adasaurus and raises Beast Power to 8, up to 24 with merges. Range goes from 20 to 24 and the bite radius to 18. Damage rises to 4 to 16 and pierce to 12 to 26, and its bonus damage against Ceramics rises from +1 to +4. It also deals extra damage to stunned Bloons. Merges reduce the attack cooldown from 1 second to about 0.66 seconds at max power.

When to buy it

At base power, Velociraptor is slow and weak for its price. It struggles with swarms because of its limited pierce, and needs merges to one-shot most Bloons.

• Merge Velociraptors or lower land beasts into it before relying on it as cleanup.
• Pair it with stuns, such as Relentless Glue, to use its stunned-Bloon bonus.
• Its main value is as the step to Tyrannosaurus Rex. Merging six Velociraptors into a T-Rex is the efficient way to reach Power 64 later.

Is it worth it?

Mostly as a stepping stone and as merge fodder for T-Rex. Standing alone at low power, other tier 3s do more.
