How to use Microraptor
Microraptor replaces the Beast Handler staff with a small dinosaur that claws Bloons once per second, hitting up to 5 Bloons in a small area for 1 Sharp damage. It has 20 range. Unlike other beasts, you can buy it even if there is no free land around the Handler.
When to buy it
Microraptor is a solid starting tower, especially as 1-1-0 with Piranha, where the Microraptor handles small groups thanks to its pierce. On maps without water, 0-1-1 with Gyrfalcon also works, though it is weaker and cannot be afforded right away at the start of CHIMPS.
Its range is short, so expect to reposition it on harder maps.
Microraptor is the start of the land path. Merge it into a higher land beast later to add Beast Power.
Is it worth it?
Yes, as a cheap opener and the first step to Adasaurus.
