How to use Adasaurus

Adasaurus replaces the Microraptor and raises Beast Power to 3, with a maximum of 6. Damage goes from 1 to 2 to 4, pierce from 5 to 8 to 20, the bite radius grows by half, and it now deals Normal damage, so it can pop early Lead Bloons. Merges increase damage, pierce and attack speed.

When to buy it

Adasaurus is weak for its cost at low power, but useful once merged:

  • At Beast Power 5 to 6 it deals enough damage to skip layers and becomes consistent.
  • It pairs very well with a Power 6 Barracuda in a 2-2-0 Handler, covering Leads and holding well into the mid-game.
  • Cheap slowing, such as a 0-1-0 Glue Gunner, gives it more time to finish stronger Bloons.

It can be repositioned quickly and has a large deployment range, which helps on tricky maps.

Is it worth it?

Yes at max Beast Power and as Lead coverage for a Barracuda opener. At Power 3 it is underwhelming.
