Super Glue

Super Glue freezes non-MOAB Bloons in place, stops MOABs and DDTs and stuns BFBs and ZOMGs. Best crosspath 0-2-5 and how it compares to Icicle Impale.

Glue so strong it temporarily immobilizes all affected Bloons!

How to use Super Glue

Super Glue is the bottom path tier 5 Glue Gunner. Its glue now stops regular Bloons completely instead of just slowing them, and it hits blimps much harder:

  • MOABs and DDTs are stopped for 5 seconds, then slowed by the normal glue effect.
  • BFBs move at 0.05x speed for 2.5 seconds, then are slowed normally.
  • ZOMGs move at 0.1x speed for 0.75 seconds, then are slowed normally.
  • BADs and Boss Bloons are not affected.

It gains 5 pierce, adds a heavy damage-over-time effect against MOAB-class Bloons and extends blimp glue duration from 9 to 13.5 seconds. The on-pop stun splatter gets more pierce and can now stun BFBs and ZOMGs too, with every stunnable blimp held for 1 second. Unlike most Glue Gunners, Super Glue can re-glue Bloons it has already glued, refreshing the effect.

When to buy it

Super Glue is a late-game support, usually bought for the final rounds of CHIMPS where ZOMGs, DDTs and dense blimp waves arrive. It works best on maps with a single lane or lanes that cross, such as Workshop or Midnight Mansion, where every pop can trigger a stun that reaches many Bloons.

0-2-5 is the right crosspath in almost every case. Glue Splatter maximises both the glue and the splatter pierce, which is exactly what the support role needs. 2-0-5 adds damage but not enough to justify losing pierce, and its synergy with The Final Harmonic is minor.

Towers that deal bonus damage to stunned targets love it: Sauda and Pop and Awe are the classic partners.

Super Glue vs Icicle Impale

Icicle Impale is the main alternative for late-game blimp control. Super Glue is cheaper and slows harder, and its stuns work with stun-synergy towers. Icicle Impale deals far more damage. Super Glue needs help against Super Ceramics because its pierce is limited, so pair it with a tower that cleans up regular Bloons.

Is it worth it?

Yes, if your defense needs time against ZOMGs and DDTs. It does almost nothing against BADs and bosses, so in Boss Events Glue Storm or The Bloon Solver are usually better picks. Against the late CHIMPS rounds it is one of the best value supports available.

Frequently asked questions

Can Super Glue stop BADs?

No. BADs and Boss Bloons ignore its glue. Everything that spills out of a BAD can be glued normally.

What is the best crosspath for Super Glue?

0-2-5. The pierce from Glue Splatter makes every shot and every on-pop stun hit more Bloons.

How much does Super Glue cost?

$24,000 on Medium. Prices on every difficulty are listed at the top of the page.
