Stickier Glue

Stickier Glue makes the glue last longer: 18 seconds instead of 11. Bloons stay slowed for longer after a single hit, so the gunner has to re-glue less often.

As a crosspath it does more than that. On Bloon Liquefier and The Bloon Solver, the acid puddles last 9.1 seconds longer and stay on the track into the next round instead of disappearing when the round ends. On Glue Strike and Glue Storm, the ability glue lasts 7 seconds longer.

When to buy it

On a low-tier Glue Gunner the extra duration is not worth much for its price, since the gunner reapplies glue quickly anyway. Its main role is as the step to Stronger Glue, which is the upgrade you actually want for slowing.

It earns its place as a crosspath in a few situations:

• 0-4-1 Glue Strike against Boss Events, where longer ability uptime on the boss matters.
• 5-0-1 The Bloon Solver in boss events, to keep the acid on the boss longer alongside The Final Harmonic.
• 0-5-1 Glue Storm, to keep a BAD or boss covered for the whole storm.

Is it worth it?

Only as a stepping stone or for the boss-focused crosspaths above. If you need a cheap slow, buy it together with Stronger Glue.
