Farwind Seer

Farwind Seer raises base arrow damage to 5 and then adds more damage based on its range. At 70 range it gains +1, and another +1 for every 5 range above that, up to +20 damage. Without other range buffs, switching to long-range stance alone gives +2, for 7 damage per arrow. On Wind Combo hits it now splits into 4 extra arrows instead of 2. With Icebore, the bonus against frozen Bloons is +5, which does not scale with range.

When to buy it

Farwind Seer is a mid-to-late-game carry. The key is stacking range:

• Aerial Attunement from other Skywardens (+3 each, up to +9).
• The Zephyr Sense long-range stance, which is built into the path.
• Monkey Village, Berserker Brew and other range boosts.
• Heroes: Obyn Greenfoot adds range and pierce, which helps break dense rounds such as round 98. Geraldo works very well too, especially Gerry's Fire, which scales well with the high per-hit damage.

Berserker Brew is a strong partner because it adds both damage and range.

Crosspaths: 5-0-2 gives Shatterpoint pierce and Icebore frozen bonus, useful when breaking groups. 5-2-0 lets it fire over obstacles.

• Stormwrath Archon is a support-style tier 5 that turns other towers into lightning sources.
• Winter's Mercy depends heavily on freezing towers.
• Farwind Seer is the most self-sufficient Skywarden tier 5, which makes it the easiest one to use in CHIMPS.
