How to use Thundering Arc

Thundering Arc changes how arrows work: each shot now creates a blast at the target after a short delay. The blast has a 10 radius, 4 pierce and deals 1 Plasma damage, which pops Lead but not Purple Bloons. For every 10 units the shot travels, the blast gains +1 pierce and +1 radius, so long shots hit bigger groups. The Skywarden also ignores obstacles and gains a Set Target option to fire at any point in range.

When to buy it

  • It is a cheap early Lead answer.
  • Long-distance shots give more pierce, so place it where it covers a lot of track at range rather than along a straight line, where blasts overlap less efficiently.
  • Line-of-sight blockers no longer matter, which makes it the go-to crosspath for other paths on maps with walls.
  • Higher tiers on this path can hit visible DDTs without help.

Is it worth it?

Yes, it is usually a direct improvement over Storm's Pulse, and a good crosspath for Wind Weaver or Coldchain on obstacle-heavy maps.
