How to use Thunder’s Decree
Thunder's Decree doubles the Lightning Combo stun on MOABs and DDTs (to 2 seconds) and BFBs (to 1 second), and lets the combo stun ZOMGs for 0.5 seconds. The distance pierce bonus on its blasts rises to +1.5 per 10 units. It also adds the Thunder Charge ability: towers in its range get faster projectiles, can pop Frozen Bloons, and their projectiles ricochet twice to the nearest unhit Bloon (projectiles that already bounce get 2 extra bounces). The buff lasts 9 seconds with a 45-second cooldown.
When to buy it
- Add it to an existing Galvanic Conduit group, choosing the one whose range covers the towers you want to buff.
- ZOMG stuns help a lot on rounds with a few ZOMGs, such as rounds 87 and 97 in CHIMPS.
- Thunder Charge is strongest on Sharp or Shatter projectile spam, since the ricochets also trigger more chain lightning on marked Bloons.
The Skywarden itself still has low pierce, so dense groups can break the combo.
Is it worth it?
Yes in a projectile-spam defense. As a lone tower, its stuns and ability are less impressive.
