Echosense Precision

Echosense Precision gives every Mermonkey attack camo detection and makes its tridents home in on bloons within 80 units in any direction. It also tightens the Ice Jet spread from 30 to 10 degrees on Arctic Knight (on Popseidon it widens the side tridents' angle instead).

When to buy it

For $200 it is one of the cheapest camo answers in the game, and homing makes the tridents much more accurate against spread-out bloons. Early on, a 0-0-1 or 1-0-1 Mermonkey is an efficient camo cleaner.

As a crosspath it is often the best pick for the middle path (0-3-1, 0-4-1, 0-5-2), because homing tridents travel longer on target and scale their damage reliably. Top path Mermonkeys take it for camo and the option to stack Echosense Network range.

If one Mermonkey needs camo detection in the early game, this is far cheaper than building a Monkey Village with Radar Scanner.

Is it worth it?

Yes. Cheap camo plus homing makes it one of the most useful Mermonkey crosspaths.
