How to use Alluring Melody
Alluring Melody adds a trance attack. Bloons that enter its area lose camo, instantly take the remaining damage of any damage-over-time effect on them (up to 50 damage each), and circle the Mermonkey anticlockwise for 6 seconds, then return to where they were. The trance has a 12 second cooldown, so it is active about half the time, and 6 pierce (ceramics use 2). Trident splash pierce also rises from 3 to 9. MOAB-class bloons are not affected yet.
When to buy it
Alluring Melody works best next to towers that apply damage over time or hit everything around them, because tranced bloons stay close and DoT pops instantly. It is not reliable as your only decamo: it is too slow and low on pierce for dense or fast camo rounds.
Crosspath 0-1-3 is usually better, since Sharper Prongs adds trance pierce and the top path cannot reduce the cooldown. 2-0-3 pulls bloons in faster, which detonates DoT more often.
Is it worth it?
It is a decent mid-game support for $2,000 and the step to Symphonic Resonance, which is where the path gets strong.
