How to use Abyssal Warrior
Abyssal Warrior coats bloons hit by trident splashes in ink, slowing all their layers for up to 10 seconds: 40% for regular bloons and 28% for MOABs and BFBs (larger blimps are not slowed). The tentacles get much stronger: 12 damage with +6 against ceramics (enough to one-shot a normal ceramic), 25 pierce, 50% bigger slaps and a 2.5 second cooldown. Splashes deal 8 damage, and the pierce buff to nearby towers rises to +20%.
When to buy it
Abyssal Warrior is a solid mid-game tower that stays useful later thanks to its slow and pierce buff. Its tridents and tentacles hit hard enough to wipe out groups of ceramics. Place it on a bend so most tentacles reach the track, and put pierce-hungry towers in its range. Spike Factories are the classic partner, especially Perma-Spike.
Crosspath 4-0-1 for camo detection and homing tridents, or 4-1-0 for more tentacle pierce. Its short range is the main weakness, so placement matters.
Is it worth it?
Yes. For $4,200 it gives damage, slow and support in one tower, and it is a strong pick in races too.
