How to use Abyss Dweller
Abyss Dweller summons the Abyssal Creature, which slaps bloons with eight tentacles arranged in a circle. Each tentacle is its own attack: 8 shatter-type damage, 15 pierce, every 3 seconds, hitting bloons in a 45 degree cone in front of it within the Mermonkey's range. Trident splashes go from 2 to 4 damage, and every other tower in range (except Paragons) gets +10% pierce.
When to buy it
For $1,800 it is a decent early-game way to deal with stronger bloons, especially if you place it on a curve or bend so many tentacles can reach the track. The pierce buff is small for now but grows on later tiers. It pairs nicely with a Spike Factory: the tentacles break the bigger groups and the spikes clean up more efficiently.
It is also a cheap carry in races. Crosspath 3-1-0 adds +35% tentacle pierce from Sharper Prongs, while 3-0-1 adds camo detection and homing tridents.
Is it worth it?
Yes as an early carry and as the step to Abyssal Warrior, which is where the path really becomes strong.
